Hello Friends! Here’s a shoot I did last fall of cute pie, 1 yr old Connor and his family. The shoot was on his grandparents farm that has been in their family for decades. Connor L.O.V.E.S the farm … Continue reading
It’s always exciting when one of your besties tells you that they’re expecting! I was beyond thrilled when Susanna told me back in September. Since we’re the creative type, we took to pinterest to find a fun way to photograph the announcement. I must say the mini blue pumpkin that Susanna came up with was such a darling way to do it! (even if it was a little sticky. :D) I’ve done Susanna and Jon’s pictures several times over the years. Click here, here and here to see their family grow.
Thank you for having me do your pictures year after year!
Congratulations to the cutest family around!
The moment the puppy realized the blue pumpkin meant an addition to the family and another competitor for the toys. 😀
Being big brothers is a very serious thing!

Hi! So it seems that winter finally decided to arrive in western Pennsylvania. Getting over 12 inches the other day was quite exciting! It was the perfect thing to break me out of my photography slump which always hits in January/February. Me, Emily and Isabelle decided to brave the cold and get some portrait shots so they could update their email profiles. I grabbed a few farm shots as well since it was soooooo BEAUTIFUL outside. Take a look at the snowy awesomeness!!
Our cow feeder makes for a cool framing shot. 🙂
Can you spot the geese?
Look at all the birds!

Have a great week!!
This has been a long awaited photoshoot! Phoebe and I have been buddies for over 15 years so she IS family. Ever since she started ballet, I would tell her that I would do a photoshoot with her one day. After a year or two things finally worked out and Phoebe and her sister (who also has a ton of ballerina experience 🙂 ) came over on a deliciously warm autumn day. Phoebe probably did the equivalent of 4 workouts posing for me! Thank you Phoebe for all of your hard work and giving me the opportunity to do this!! Love ya!!
In this blog post, you’ll notice that ballet shoes are one of my favorite things EVER to photograph. (And also that 90% of the pictures are vertical. How that happened, I have no idea. 😛 ) Since I had seen this post on one of my favorite photographer’s blog, I had been inspired to do something with ballet. We went to an old train station that also happened to have a little log cabin right next to it. It was the PERFECT location! I’ll stop talking and let you see for yourself. Here are some of my favorite pictures EVAHHH!! Enjoy 🙂
Hey! How’s your Christmas going? Mine is crazy as usual. I just thought I’d check in with you all to let you know about a project I’ve been working on. This year, I really wanted to up my game with my pictures. Every Christmas gets so busy that I seem to miss the all the action and fun the season and really only pull my camera out on Christmas day. This year, I’ve decided to change that and put up a picture for the 12 days of Christmas. I have been putting one up every morning on my Facebook page.
I have the first 7 up in this blog post. The last 5 days I will post on here on Christmas day or the day after, but if you would like to see them the minute they’re posted, take a look at the FB page. I’m really excited about the next 3 days pictures!
Have a very merry Christmas!!
