Spring came and went so fast for me this year. (Summer too!) Life has been crazy busy in such a great way. The only thing is that in times like these I can hardly find the time to put on make up, much less blog. 😦 I’m finally digging through all of my pictures to scrape together a post for you all. Hope you all enjoy! 🙂
We got a new puppy! His name is Silas. 🙂
Isabelle bought an orphan calf off from a friend of ours. His name is Henri (pronounced with an “Aw” sound instead of the “h”. If you’ve watched Liberty’s Kids, you’ll know what I mean. 😀 ) and his favorite snack is bananas. 😀
Waking up early to photograph some of the girls for a CD.
The four of us oldest at a Jane Austen/Regency era ball that Emily hosted. Emily went as Cinderella and I was in my 1770’s-80’s ball dress.
I’ve had this idea in my mind for a photoshoot where I could have one of my sisters in full 18th century garb walking around the farm. The weather was so nice this past week that I decided to try the idea out. It helped immensely that our mini donkey gave birth to the fluffiest white baby that I’ve ever seen! Take a look below to see the CUTEST BABY DONKEY EVER!! and also our horse, Blue. 🙂 Have a great weekend!
Back in August, I was able to travel to Ohio to visit a great friend of mine! Melissa and I have been friends since I was 4! We both love alllll things creative and artsy so when we get together we talk and art and talk and art and talk…. You get the picture! 😀 Melissa is a fabulous artist so when we were planning our visit, we knew we were going to do an art photoshoot. Take a look at her fabulous painting below! Some of you longtime readers might remember Melissa from a few posts I’ve done on here in the past. She has an awesome art blog in which she used pictures from this photoshoot. Take a look at her Ten Tips for Painting Outside and leave a comment saying how you found her post! Have a great day! Lizzy 🙂
Hi my faithful readers! It’s been a long long time since I’ve done one of these posts. I think the last time I posted some regular pictures from around home was early 2013. Time to fix that I think. Actually, I’m thinking of making a semi regular thing of home pictures. Not weekly but a little more spaced out. Any ideas? Leave your ideas in the comments below 🙂 Also I went little crazy on the pictures. There’s a ton! I put some really really cute ones at the end. 😉 Enjoy!
We have bees now! Emmaline loves to help. 🙂
Can’t wait to try some honey!
The Garden this year
Mom making corn for the winter
Annamae helping with the endless dishes during canning.
Abby watching us cook dinner. This is a regular occurrence. She also does this at night which is really scary.
Wow, it’s June already!! Spring was a wonderfully blessed time this year. It’s rarely not. 🙂 Baby animals everywhere. Our nearby friends had newborn lambs. Let me tell ya, I fell in L-O-V-E! I need a baby lamb now. 😀 Here’s a photoshoot I did with the girls and the little lambs and our ducklings. Enjoy 🙂
