Hello Friends! Here’s a shoot I did last fall of cute pie, 1 yr old Connor and his family. The shoot was on his grandparents farm that has been in their family for decades. Connor L.O.V.E.S the farm … Continue reading
Spring came and went so fast for me this year. (Summer too!) Life has been crazy busy in such a great way. The only thing is that in times like these I can hardly find the time to put on make up, much less blog. 😦 I’m finally digging through all of my pictures to scrape together a post for you all. Hope you all enjoy! 🙂
We got a new puppy! His name is Silas. 🙂
Isabelle bought an orphan calf off from a friend of ours. His name is Henri (pronounced with an “Aw” sound instead of the “h”. If you’ve watched Liberty’s Kids, you’ll know what I mean. 😀 ) and his favorite snack is bananas. 😀
Waking up early to photograph some of the girls for a CD.
The four of us oldest at a Jane Austen/Regency era ball that Emily hosted. Emily went as Cinderella and I was in my 1770’s-80’s ball dress.
Teaching Silas not to chase horses.
Hi! So it seems that winter finally decided to arrive in western Pennsylvania. Getting over 12 inches the other day was quite exciting! It was the perfect thing to break me out of my photography slump which always hits in January/February. Me, Emily and Isabelle decided to brave the cold and get some portrait shots so they could update their email profiles. I grabbed a few farm shots as well since it was soooooo BEAUTIFUL outside. Take a look at the snowy awesomeness!!
Our cow feeder makes for a cool framing shot. 🙂
Can you spot the geese?
Look at all the birds!
Making a snow fort
Chen Po and Puff: best friends forever!
My chickens doing the “huddle”.
Tired out from all the snow
Have a great week!!
I know I’m a little late but better late than mid July, right? 😉 I haven’t done one of these in forever. Here’s a little gallery featuring a picture per post done in 2015. (you all can click on them to see them full size!!!) Also scroll down to see what the most popular post of this year was!
Soooooooo What post was my most popular post of the year? It was…..
Uriah’s pics were amazing!! He was super fun to photograph with his “prop” which was probably the largest tractor in the state! These pictures even made it to pinterest!!
What do you all want to see here in the next year?
Thank you all for your support over 2015. Have a blessed 2016!!
Merry Christmas everyone!!
Here’s a project I did especially for you, my faithful blog readers! I wanted to thank you all for support over the past year. I wanted to capture the story of Christmas using what resources I had. All the pictures you see here were shot around the farm with the exception of the shepherd one. (Because we don’t have sheep and had to go to the neighbors to use theirs. 😀 ) It was a lot of fun and hard work putting these 5 pictures together.
If you didn’t read the previous post I did a few days ago, I’ve been posting a picture a day for the 12 days of Christmas on my facebook page. I’m posting them up on here for all my non-facebookers to see! 🙂 (You may or may not want to check it out. Especially over the next few days. I’ll be posting some behind the scenes photos and probably have something up on how I did the Wise Men Picture.)
I hope you guys enjoy these! Made with lots of love for you! 🙂
8 And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. 9 An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”
Luke 2:8-12 NIV
After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, “Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.”
13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, 14 “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”
4 So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. 5 He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child.
6 While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born,
7 and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
